1. The screw conveyor sits in a harsh environment exposed to the sea – this is the reason for using 1.4401 stainless steel for housing
2. Drill cuttings are abrasive – this is the reason for using Hardox steel for the screw flights
3. To make all screw rotors for the screw conveyors self carried intermediate bearings are used.
4. The intermediate bearings are manufactured with Hardy discs for ensuring flexibility

Another important feature in this project is the swivel screw conveyor. The swivel screw can turn around in one point ensuring the outlet to move along a cirrcle line. In this case, the swivel screw conveyor can deliver cuttings to different points.
