Horizontal tube screw conveyors for gypsum transport manufactured for gypsum plaster factory.

All the screw conveyors are manufactured as tube conveyors. Gypsum is easy to transport in a screw conveyor and it is not necessary to overview the screw rotor on regular basis.

The horizontal tube screw conveyors are designed and manufactured for industrial use.

Key points for the solution

• Designed for a silent indstrial environment. All screw rotors are manufactured with a self carried inner tube.
• Designed to be as closed as possible – this is the reason for using the tube conveyor type
• Designed with ribbon screw flights to avoid clocking of the screw rotor in case of sticky material. Gypsum can be sticky with a high water content
• Painted performed to class C5

In BEMA we design industrial applications for horizontal tube screw conveyors for gypsum transport to have a lifetime of at least 10 year.

Key points in the design to ensure a long lifte time for horizontal tube screw conveyors are:

1. Thickness of the screw conveyor housing shall be at least 4 mm
2. Thickness of the screw flights shall be at least 5 mm
3. Pack boxes shall be with manufactured with braided packings
4. Bearings shall be placed in a distance from the screw conveyor housing

With our own design department we can combine our ACTA crusher with screw conveyors for further transport of the gypsum. In this project we solved the a transport assignment without a crusher. All orders in BEMA are customer specfic depending on the actual requirement.
