Horizontal tube screw conveyors for gypsum transport manufactured for gypsum plaster factory. All the screw conveyors are manufactured as tube conveyors. Gypsum is easy to transport in a screw conveyor and it is not necessary to overview the screw rotor on regular basis. The horizontal tube screw conveyors are designed and manufactured for industrial use.
BEMA has manufacted several solutions for the gypsum industry. We have a key process machine for a gypsum plaster factory – our ACTA cruser. The ACTA crusher is used in many gypsum plaster factories. Learn more about the ACTA crusher here See an example of an ACTA crusher with a screw conveyor here In BEMA we design industrial applications for horizontal tube screw conveyors for gypsum transport to have a lifetime of at least 10 year.
With our own design department we can combine our ACTA crusher with screw conveyors for further transport of the gypsum. In this project we solved the a transport assignment without a crusher. All orders in BEMA are customer specfic depending on the actual requirement.
Horizontal tube screw conveyors are designed for efficient and reliable transport of gypsum in industrial environments. Gypsum is easy to convey in a screw system, and the process requires minimal supervision of the screw rotor, making it ideal for continuous operation in gypsum plaster production.
Tube conveyors are selected because they are designed to be as closed as possible, reducing dust, spillage and environmental impact. This enclosed construction also supports a quieter working environment and protects sticky or moisture‑rich gypsum from external conditions.
The conveyors are equipped with ribbon screw flights, which significantly reduce the risk of clogging when handling sticky gypsum with high water content. The ribbon design improves material flow and reduces mechanical stress on the equipment.
To achieve a minimum lifetime of 10 years, the housing is built with at least 4 mm steel thickness, and the screw flights with at least 5 mm. Pack boxes use braided packings, and bearings are placed at a distance from the housing to avoid wear from moisture and material contact.
BEMA designs customer‑specific systems and can integrate tube screw conveyors with other equipment such as the ACTA crusher for complete gypsum‑handling lines. Each solution is engineered to match capacity requirements and process layout precisely.
