Heavy-duty screw conveyors 13 pcs. in a project – 35697
Heavy duty-screw conveyors, with HARDOX screw flights for maximum durability. These heavy-duty screw conveyors are used for transportation of waste from manufacturing mineral wool. Two heavy-duty screw conveyors are manufactured as double screw conveyors to sit under a silo to take out waste for futher handling.
BEMA has designed the heavy-duty screw conveyors after receiving the initial layout from the client. After receiving the layout BEMA has visited the factory and used our 3D scanning camera to make a model in which we can place the heavy-duty screw conveyors.
Based on the layout-out and the scanning results, BEMA has designed the screw conveyors.
All production has taken place on our facilities in Haderslev.
After manufacturing and assembly, BEMA has performed a test run of each screw conveyor to ensure that the machine runs according to our specifications.
Finally BEMA has packed the conveyors into containers ready to be transported overseas to the client.

- Coupling between screw shaft and the gear box to make gear box replacement easy and fast
- Extra heavy packings used to ensure optimal tightness between the through and the lid
- The design of the conveyors have had the goal to reuse all wear components (shaft seals, bearings, gear boxes etc.) in order to reduce the amount of spare parts needed to service and maintain the screw conveyors
