We always recommend that you take a critical look on the necessity of surface treatment. In many applications the following is enough:

1. Use 2B – cold rolled plates – whereever possible
2. Use TIG welding on all surfaces in contact with the food material
3. Acid pickle all stainless steel parts after welding
