The trough conveyor is delivered with a number of support cribs for easy installation on-site.

What is the idea behind using a gate valve plate parallel to the screw conveyor housing?

1. The parallel gate valve plates eliminates the possibility for the material to build up underneath
2. Some time of material will compress if you use a conventional gate valve, and the gate valve is closed

1. The U-trough screw conveyor has lids which can be de-mounted
