Shaftless screw conveyor inclined classifier Ø350x9000mm – 35355

Shaftless inclined screw conveyor that is waterfilled and designed to transport material from the bottom of the water inlet. During the transport the water will drain off the material.

The screw conveyor is delivered with complete supports and a small walk-way to be used for inspection of the screw conveyor.

What is a screw conveyor classifier?

• A screw classifier is used to sort material out of a water mixture
• Typical materials in a screw classifier are minor minerals in the ore dressing industry
• A screw classifier can also be used to drain water cooled ash or slags from a boiler in a powerplant

Most often a shaftless screw conveyor is used for the material transport, but a conventional screw rotor with ribbon screw flights can also be used. A screw rotor with ribbon screw flights will drain water well and has the advantage that it is self-carried.

Shaftless inclined screw classifier – main highlights

• The bottom of the screw house is supplied with a bended plastic plate to support the shaftless screw
• The screw house is designed water tight since it is filled up to 2/3 of the height – the non water filled part will ensure drainage of the transported material
• Delivered including funnels for transporting material to the screw conveyor

BEMA has made the complete design in cooperation with the client. All components designed and manufactured to decrease the installation time on-site. The shaftless screw conveyor is delivered with a platform to be used for maintenance and supervision of the installed screw conveyor system. All parts are manufactured for easy and fast installation on-site.
