BEMA has manufactured a serie of 72 pcs. of screw auger with a small diameter – Ø41. The length of the screw augers are app. 1200 mm.
Is it possible to manufacture screw augers with sectional flights with small diamters?
- The answer is yes
- Before we say yes, we must analyze the customer drawing carefully to be sure the we are able to handle the small diameters
- The material and the material thickness is limited when you work with augers that have a small diameter
- The material can be standard carbon steel or standard austenitic stainless steel
- The material thickness shall be below 5 mm.
The above should be taken as a general rule of thumb. If you have a certain screw auger that you want to be manufactured in numbers contact BEMA and we will analyze if we can assist you. It might require a modified forming tool or similar prepations.

- Material: Stainless steel EN1.4401 and 1.4462 duplex steel for the shafts
- Execution: Welded app. 2×20% and acid pickled after welding
- A serie of 72 pcs. in a complete order
