Container filler with screw conveyors designed and manufactured for a malt plant. The machine has to fill 20″ or 40″ containers with malt whereafter they are shipped to all over the World.

Main charateristics for the container filler

• Machine for filling 20″ and 40″ container with bulk malt
• Loading capacity: 100 ton/hour, quivalent to 180 m3/h
• Loading capacity on filling: 20 tons in 11 minutes
• Build-on steel wheels so the machine can handle several truck loading points
• Can move in vertical and horisontal direction for stationary container filling (the container is stationary under the filling process)
• The inlet tray is stationary, and the screw conveyor part is moving
• The screw conveyor ensures that the transportation is done closed and safe with minimum dust emission

1. The customer has given BEMA the main specification and requirements of the machine
2. One of our engineers has designed the machine in close cooperation with customer
3. We have incorporated the customer ideas and ensured that saftety rules and guidelines are followed
4. After final approval of the machine, BEMA has manufactured the container filler in the workshop
5. The machine has been completely assembled in the workshop and the customer has participated in the FAT test run
6. The machine has been shipped to the customer and 2 of our mechanic craftsmen participated in the assembly on-site and following test run of the machine

Which tasks did the customer solve by himself?

1. The customer developed the control system by himself by using his own electrical engineering company which normally services the factory
2. BEMA assisted with all necessary information on the electrical components inside the machine
