3 m3 bin with a Ø135 mm lifting screw conveyor. The lifting screw conveyor acts primarely as an extraction screw conveyor for the bin. In this particular case, the bin is manufactured as an inverted pyramid. The inlet to the screw conveyor has a quite small area, which avoid blocking of the screw conveyor. Such a solution is only working well if the material flows easily.
Design of a bin with lifting screw conveyor depends strongly on the actual situation. It also depends on the material you put in the bin. In this case it must be easy flowing – otherwise there is a risk of bridge building with the selected design of the bin.
The connection to the bin goes via a flange connection in the bottom of the bin. This makes it easy to uninstall the screw conveyor. This design has been done in cooperation with the customer who ships the solution all over the world.
