Transportation screw conveyors in stainless steel designed and manufactured by BEMA.
BEMA has in cooperation with the customer designed and manufactured this project.
The complete transportation screw system is designed to go around:
The transportation screw conveyors are designed for easy installation on site.
After collecting material from a screw press and a sedicanter, the material is chopped in an Ø600 screw conveyor with knives in the side of the through in combination with cut-off on the outer diameter of the screw rotor.
3 transportation screw conveyors in the end distributes the material over a plan storage. This ensures an equal material level over the storage. The transportation screws are supplied with intermediate bearings. The intermediate bearings are designed for a semi rough environment and are sitting in a closed housing protected with simmerrings.
BEMA has designed and calculated all machines as a complete line for material transportation. BEMA has it’s own engineers and designers who are able to calculate, make drawings and document a complete series of tranportation screw conveyors – a complete transportation system.
BEMA has manufactured the complete project based on own drawings, our own technolgy solutions developed inside the company over more than 75 years. When designing our own machines, we benefit from a database of drawings of well proven and stable solutions. Transportation screw conveyor technology is a classical mechnical discipline, which is far from todays view on fast development and fast market entry. On the other hand we offer our clients machines to work 24 hours a day over a long range of years.

BEMA helps clarify functional requirements such as capacity, material characteristics, operating environment, and installation constraints. Their engineering team evaluates these parameters and proposes the optimal screw type, pitch, diameter, and material grade to ensure reliable performance and long service life.
BEMA manufactures complete stainless‑steel screw conveyors, including shafts, flights, troughs, covers, and end plates. They handle complex geometries, long conveying distances, steep inclines, and special requirements such as wear protection, drainage sections, or hygienic design for food and pharma applications.
All components are produced with tight tolerances, ensuring correct pitch, concentricity, and smooth operation. Welding, forming, and assembly are carried out by specialists, and each conveyor is tested for mechanical stability, alignment, and functional performance before delivery.
BEMA delivers the screw conveyor as a complete, ready‑to‑install unit and offers guidance during on‑site installation. This includes alignment checks, drive configuration advice, and verification that the system integrates correctly with upstream and downstream equipment.
