What is the function of the the 3 process screw conveyors?
- Heating screw conveyor where the material is heated by steam directly added to the screw conveyor via holes in the bottom
- Cooling screw conveyor where the material is cooled by clean air directly added to the screw conveyor via holes in the bottom
- Mixing screw conveyor where an additive is added to the material in the inlet
After finalising the above step, a lifting tubular screw conveyor is used to transport the material to the next step in the process.
BEMA has made the complete design of the screw conveyors in close cooperation with the customer. The screw conveyors are all tested before finalising the assembly process. In BEMA we test all equipment before it is shipped to the customer site. By making a complete test with power on the gear box, we assure that all components are functioning correctly.
