Powder screw conveyors for food ingredients – 33956

Powder screw conveyors for food ingredients designed and manufactured by BEMA. The screw conveyors are part of a complete system for testing new types of ingredients.

What does the system contain?

1. 3 minor tanks
2. A reversible tube conveyor sitting in the top to distribute material to two tanks
3. An external bin with a screw rotor in the bottom to feed the complete system
4. A small platform to service the external bin
5. Different valves

The complete system is manufactured and assembled in BEMA. All functions of the system has been tested before it was shipped to the final customer.

What how BEMA done in this project with powder screw conveyors?

1. Designed all the steel parts in cooperation with the customer
2. Ensured that the steel parts are designed in accordance with EC-1935/2004 – The Food Directive
3. Manufactured the steel parts with special focus on the surfaces in contact with the food ingredients
4. Assembled the steel parts together with other parts delivered by the customer
5. Performed a FAT test in cooperation with the customer
6. Shipped the complete system to the customer
7. Delivered the necessary documentation to the customer
